Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing girls Rachael and Meleane Fangaake, Victoria Police say.
Officers have been told 16-year-old Meleane and 14-year-old Rachel were last seen on Lachlan Road, Sunshine West on Thursday.
The girls have not returned to their Warmington Road home and family have concerns for their welfare due to their age and the length of time that they have been missing.
Police have released images of Rachael and Meleane in the hope that someone may have information on their current whereabouts.
Anyone with information on their current whereabouts is urged to call Sunshine Police on 9313 3333.
