Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing girl Fakanonga.
The 13-year-old was last seen on Banker Street, Kurunjang today about 7.30am.
Police and family have concerns for Fakanonga due to her age and her disappearance is out of character.
Fakanonga is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, approximately 170cm tall, with a medium build, long black hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a grey crop top, black shorts and slides.
Police have released an image of Fakanonga and urge anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Melton Police Station on 03 9747 7999.
