Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Mernda girl, Kimberly.
The 16-year-old was last seen leaving her home in Mernda at about 9.45am today.
Kimberly is described as about 165cm tall with blonde hair and of thin build.
Police and family have concerns for Kimberly's welfare and have released an image.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Mernda Police Station on 03 9216 1200.
