Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Alex.
The 26-year-old was last seen at his Hawthorn address about 9am today.
Police and family hold concerns for Alex as his disappearance is out of character.
Alex is known to frequent the Melbourne CBD area.
Police have released an image of Alex in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Alex is urged to contact Boroondara Police Station on 8851 1111.
