Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Chris Coleston, Victoria Police say.
Chris was last seen at a care facility in Keon Park about 1pm this afternoon.
Police have concerns for his welfare given his age.
The 89-year-old is known to frequent the McRae and Rosebud areas as he used to live there, and has previously been located in McCrae after going missing.
Chris may be using public transport to travel and also likes to walk, so police are urging people to keep a look out for him.
He is described as being 180cm tall with a thin build, blue eyes and white hair.
Police have also released an image of Chris in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his current whereabouts.
