Police are currently searching for and appealing for public assistance to locate missing Bentleigh man Fred.
The 81-year-old was last seen on Renown Steet in Bentleigh on 12 March about 7.10am.
There are concerns for Fred's welfare as he lives with dementia and may be disoriented.
Fred is described as being Caucasian, about 184cm tall, with grey short hair, a moustache and he walks with a limp.
He is believed to be wearing a t-shirt, shorts and a black watch.
Fred will most likely be travelling on foot and has limited knowledge of the Bentleigh area.
