Police search for missing man in Petersham

Police are searching for man missing from Petersham after he was last seen at his home yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 11.30am (17 April 2017), 55-year-old Michael McLoughlin left his Albert Street home and has not been seen since.

Mr McLoughlin left without any personal items and is believed to be on foot.

He is described as being Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall with a slim build. He has grey balding hair, clean shaven, brown eyes and wears glasses.

He was last seen wearing a navy-coloured polar fleece jacket, dark pants and black "Asic" running shoes.

Police and family are concerned for the man’s welfare as his disappearance is considered is totally out of character.

Investigations are continuing.
