Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Michael.
The 35-year-old, of no fixed address, contacted his mother by phone on 9 August.
Police and family hold serious concerns for Michael's welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
Michael is described as Caucasian, with short brown hair with shaved sides, brown eyes, and has a tattoo of 'Sabrina' in black ink on the left side of his neck.
Police have released an image of Michael in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Michael or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Preston Police Station on 9479 6111.
