Police search for missing man, Mount Molloy area

Police and SES volunteers have commenced a search of a remote property in the far north after a 80-year-old man has been reported missing.

Victor (Vic) Horne lives alone in a bush camp on the banks of the Mitchell River at Karma Waters Station.

His 1975 Land Rover was located about four kilometres from his camp on Monday (December 13) however Vic has not been located.

Vic is described as slim build, Caucasian, 183cm tall, blue eyes with a grey beard.

A land search has commenced today, and investigators are appealing for anyone with further information to contact police.
