Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Salvatore Beltempo, Victoria Police say.
The 83-year-old was last seen at his home address on Percy Street in Fawkner about 7pm yesterday.
Police and family have concerns for Salvatore due to medical conditions.
He is described as having a thin build, olive skin, grey hair and speaks Italian with very little English.
He was wearing black pants, light grey shirt and dark blue runners.
Police have released an image of Salvatore in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his whereabouts.
Anyone who sights Salvatore is asked to contact Brunswick Police Station on 8378 6000.
