Police search for missing woman Stephanie

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Albert Park woman Stephanie, who is also known as Tiger.

The 28-year-old was last seen at a home in Albert Park in the morning of Thursday 21 January.

It was expected Stephanie would return home about 1.30pm however she hasn't been seen since leaving her home.

Police and family have concerns for her welfare as she has a medical condition and requires daily medication which she didn't take yesterday. Her disappearance is also out of character.

Stephanie usually takes a camelbak hydration system with her when she leaves the house, but she didn't on this occasion. She also left her wallet and mobile phone at home.

Officers have been told Stephanie frequents Albert Park, the Royal Botanic Gardens and the beach.

An image of Stephanie has been released in the hope someone may recognise her and provide information on her current whereabouts.

Stephanie is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 154cm tall and has light brown hair which was tied back in a ponytail.

She was last seen wearing a distinctive torn black jumper with embroidered white flowers on it.

Anyone who sights Stephanie is urged to call South Melbourne Police Station on 9257 3800.
