Police search for stolen therapy dog in Heidelberg Heights

Police are digging for leads after Tallow the seven-month-old therapy dog was stolen at Heidelberg Heights last week, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told Tallow a King Charles Cavalier, was taken from a secured back garden on Waiora Road sometime in the morning of Saturday 9 December.

Tallow is not only a beloved family member he is also a therapy dog for children in foster care. He provides support to children dealing with trauma.

The micro-chipped Cavalier is tri colour, black, brown and white and has a distinctive white mark on his back.

Police have released an image of Tallow in the hope someone has information regarding his current whereabouts.
