Police seek assistance to locate missing teenager in Fairfield

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenager missing from Fairfield since Thursday, NSW Police say.

Rayan Dawood, 17, was last seen about 9.15pm on Thursday 30 June 2016, after leaving work in the Fairfield area.

When Rayan failed to return to his Canley Heights home, his parents contacted police.

Officers attached to Fairfield Local Area Command commenced a search for Rayan; however he has not been seen since.

Rayan’s family and police hold concerns for his welfare, as his disappearance is out of character.

Rayan is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, with short brown hair, a moustache and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, red collared shirt, and black pants. He was also carrying a backpack.

Police believe Rayan may still be around the Fairfield area.

Anyone with information on Rayan’s whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stopers.
