Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 12-year-old Jordan Bernardone and his mother Ebony Barber.
Jordan was last seen in the Morwell area on the evening of 28 November, while 30-year-old Ebony was last seen in the Morwell area on 27 November.
Investigators believe the pair may be travelling together in a silver 2001 Toyota Corolla hatch with registration QQD434.
Police and family have concerns for their welfare due to Jordan's age and Ebony has a medical condition.
Jordan and Ebony are known to frequent the Morwell, Sale and Carrum Downs areas.
Jordan is described as 142cm tall with a slim build and brown hair, while Ebony is described as 178cm tall with a slim build and dark hair with blonde streaks.
Ebony was last seen wearing a white top and black pants. It is unknown what Jordan was last seen wearing.
Police have released images of Jordan and Ebony in the hope someone recognises them.
