Police seek help to find Kensington puppy thieves

Police are investigating after a much-loved family pet was stolen from a Kensington backyard on Friday.

The theft occurred when the 9-week-old Labrador puppy was taken from the yard of Kensington Road address between 12.45 -1.15pm.

The dog's owner did hear a noise coming from the backyard but did not investigate until a short time later, finding a section of corrugated fencing pulled back and the puppy gone.

The family have provided an image of the puppy in the hope that someone will see it and contact police.
