Police seek help to find missing 81-year-old woman - Nepean PAC

A search is underway for an elderly woman missing in the Nepean area.

81-year-old Pauline Bassett was last seen at a bus stop on Brisbane Street, near Sydney Street, Oxley Park, about 12.50pm yesterday (Monday 17 May 2021).

She was due home later that day however, when she failed to return her family reported her missing to police.

Officers from Nepean Police Area Command commenced a search in Canberra Street, Oxley Park, and surrounding areas without success.

A wider search, with the assistance of PolAir took place however she was unable to be located.

The search will continue today.

Concerns are held for welfare due to recent health concerns.

Pauline is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 165cm tall with a medium build and short white hair. She was wearing a thin grey long jumper with blue pants and slip-on shoes.
