Police seek help to find missing boy at Mitchell

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate an 11-year-old boy reported missing from Mitchell.

The boy and a 41-year-old woman, who is known to him, were last seen on Liverpool Street in Mitchell on October 18 and have not been seen by friends or family since.

The boy was reported missing to police on October 21.

Preliminary investigations indicate they may be in the Darling Downs or South West area.

The boy (pictured) is described as Aboriginal, is approximately 115cm tall, of a slim build with short brown hair and brown eyes.

The woman (pictured) is described as Aboriginal, is approximately 175cm tall, of a medium build with grey hair and brown eyes.

They may be travelling in a silver, 2001 Toyota Tarago (similar to pictured) with Queensland registration 039-XPU.

Anyone with information about their location is urged to contact police.
