Police seek help to find missing boy at Rural View

Queensland Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 13-year-old boy reported missing from Rural View, Mackay.

The boy (pictured, who now has a shaved head) was last seen around 1:30pm on Tuesday, February 28, on Harrington Street, North Mackay and hasn't been located since.

Police have reason to believe that the boy may have travelled to Brisbane and may be travelling around the northern suburbs with other persons.

Police have concerns for his welfare due to his young age and as he has a medical condition.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, 160cm tall, with a shaven head and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a white and black striped hoodie, black shorts, white slide shoes with black socks, and was carrying a backpack.

Police are appealing to the boy or anyone who may have information regarding the boy's whereabouts, to come forward.
