Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 10-year-old boy Dean Megne.
Dean was last seen at his home address in Boronia Avenue, Dandenong North about 8am this morning.
He was last seen wearing a red polo shirt, black pants and dark coloured shoes.
Dean was also riding a yellow mountain bike.
Police are concerned for Dean's welfare due to his age.
Investigators have released an image of Dean in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
Police believe he may have travelled to Ascot Vale.
