Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing teenager Zacharia Markou.
The 13-year-old was last seen at his home address in Marney Court, Broofield about 2pm today.
Police and family members hold concerns for Zacharia's welfare due to his age.
He was last seen wearing an orange hi-vis jumper, blue Adidas shorts with yellow stripes, red Nike runners and a black Puma back pack.
An image has been released in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his whereabouts.
It is believed that he may be in the Melton area.
Anyone who sights Zacharia or has information on his current whereabouts is urged to contact Caroline Springs Police Station on 9361 4700.
