Police seek help to find missing girl at Gympie 9 October

Police are asking for public assistance to locate a missing 14-year-old Gympie girl.

The girl (pictured) went missing from a Barter Street address late Thursday night and travelled by train to Fortitude Valley in Brisbane on Friday morning.

Police and family hold serious concerns for the girl's welfare due to her age.

She is described as Caucasian, 175cm tall, with long blonde hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion. She has a slim build.

She was last seen wearing black pants and a black jumper and may be carrying a duffel bag.

Police are urging the girl, or anyone who may have seen her, to contact them.
