Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing girl Saminah Rahim.
The 11-year-old was last seen in Dandenong about 4pm today.
She is described as having a thin build with long dark brown hair.
Police have concerns for her welfare due to her age.
Police have released an image of Saminah in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information regarding her current whereabouts.
Anyone with information about Saminah is urged to contact Dandenong Police Station on 9767 7444.
