Police are appealing for urgent public assistance to locate a 78-year-old man missing from Maryborough since yesterday, June 12.
Damian Fletcher was last seen on foot leaving a retirement village on Morning Street just before 9.40am and has not been seen or heard from since.
Police and family are concerned for his welfare as he has a medical condition, and this behaviour is out of character.
Damian is described as Caucasian, approximately 177cm tall with grey hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a light blue and white checkered shirt, white shoes with black socks, dark green camo pants and carrying a brown paper bag.
Residents are urged to check sheds, yards, backyards and in, under and around under boats, cars, and trailers.
Police are appealing to Damian or anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to immediately come forward.
