Police seek help to find missing man at Maryborough

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 50-year-old Dundathu man missing from the Maryborough area since Thursday (September 22).

Bobby Barnes was last seen in Tiaro around midday but did not return home. He was sighted earlier in the morning at a Tinana South service station on the Bruce Highway wearing a green, fluorescent shirt, camouflage shorts and work boots (pictured).

Mr Barnes is described as Caucasian, 170cm tall with a slim build, dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Police believe he may be travelling to Mount Isa in his white 2008 Toyota Landcruiser, Queensland registration 975 SWP (pictured).

Anyone in the Maryborough area or travelling to Mount Isa is urged to keep a look out for Mr Barnes and his vehicle.

Police and his family hold concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character and he has a medical condition.

Investigators are appealing for Mr Barnes or anyone with further information of his whereabouts to contact police.
