Police seek help to find missing man at Victoria Point 29 March

Police are appealing for urgent public assistance to locate a 59-year-old man missing from Woolloongabba since yesterday afternoon.

David Chique (pictured) left an Ipswich Road medical facility at approximately 3.30pm, and was seen in the vicinity of Waratah Road at Victoria Point at approximately 10pm.

He has not made contact with anyone since.

Family and police have serious concerns for his welfare as he has a medical condition which requires treatment, and may be disoriented.

Police patrols in both Woolloongabba and Victoria Point have so far not located any sign of David.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 175cm tall with a proportionate build, grey hair and beard.

He was last seen wearing a navy jumper and track pants, with sandals and socks (as pictured).

Police ask residents in the Victoria Point area and nearby suburbs to check their properties.

Anyone who may have seen David or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to immediately contact police.
