Police seek help to find missing man at East Maitland

Police are appealing for assistance to help locate a man missing from the Hunter region.

Jason Maxwell, aged 43, was last seen leaving his home in East Maitland about 10pm on Tuesday 10 December 2019.

Officers from Port Stephens-Hunter Police District were notified late yesterday and commenced an investigation.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he has not been seen or heard from since.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall with an average build, short brown spiky hair, clean shaven and hazel/green eyes.

He was last seen wearing a lime green t-shirt with a palm tree pattern on the front, navy shorts with a red and white stripe on the side, a full brimmed navy hat and white sneakers with an orange stripe.

Anyone who has seen Jason or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
