Police seek help to find missing man at North Queensland

Police are appealing for assistance in locating a 59-year-old Charters Towers man reported missing on the weekend.

Mark Bennett was last seen at The Strand in Townsville at 6:30pm on Sunday.

He is described as Caucasian, around 170cm tall, of heavy build with brown eyes and grey hair.

Mr Bennett was last seen wearing a dark green polo shirt, dark blue knee length shorts, brown leather thongs and carrying a black satchel bag.

Police and family are concerned for his welfare due to a medical condition requiring medication.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts are urged to contact police.
