Police seek help to find missing man at Oxenford

Gold Coast police are appealing for public assistance to help find a 51-year-old man, reported missing from Oxenford on February 14.

Alexander Smith (pictured) was last seen leaving a Florida Place address for work around 6.30am in his Honda Jazz.

He then failed to arrive at work and his Honda was located around 5.40pm at the Brisbane Botanical gardens.

A subsequent search of the area failed to locate Alexander.

Police and Alexander's family hold concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character and he has a medical condition.

Alexander is described as Caucasian with a fair complexion, 182cm tall, with a proportionate build, black hair and hazel eyes.

He may be limping due to a recent sporting injury

Police urge anyone with information regarding Alexander's whereabouts to contact them immediately.
