Police seek help to find missing man at Robina 27 October

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 80-year-old man reported missing from Robina this afternoon.

Helmut Lohmaier was last seen around 2.45pm today (Thursday October 27) near Bayberry Lane.

Police and family hold concerns for Helmut's welfare as he has medical condition which may cause confusion and communication difficulties.

He is described as Caucasian with short grey hair, green eyes, around 178cm tall with a proportionate build.

He was wearing a navy puffer jacket with a red polo shirt beneath and may be wearing a wrist-band.

Residents in Robina and surrounds are asked to check under their houses, in sheds and carports for signs of Helmut.

Anyone with information on Helmut's whereabouts is asked to contact police; particularly motorists travelling in the area who may have seen Helmut or given him a lift.
