Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 50-year-old Louis Luu.
Louis was last seen just after 6am this morning when he left a medical centre on Burgundy Street in Heidelberg.
The Surrey Hills man has a severe aquired brain injury which may not be apparent initially however he has limited capacity to verbally communicate.
He does not have a mobile phone or money with him.
Louis is Asian, 170cm tall with a solid build and short dark hair and was wearing a green Kathmandu polar fleece zip-up jacket, beige chinos and black Nike sneakers with white stripes.
Police have released an image of Louis in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
