Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Shane Gooch.
The 37-year-old was last seen in Point Cook about 3pm this afternoon.
He is described as 183cm tall with a medium build, short dark hair and unshaven and was wearing a navy blue Ralph Lauren top with a small red logo and jeans.
Police have released an image of Shane in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
Anyone with information about Shane is asked to contact Werribee Police Station on 9742 9444.
