Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing woman Anita King.
The 78-year-old was last seen on Glen Vista Road, Narre Warren about 6.30pm last night.
Police and family have concerns for her welfare as she has a medical condition and due to the length of time she has been missing.
Anita is described as having blue eyes and short grey hair, and was seen wearing a brown jacket, black pants. She was also carrying a black bag.
She is known to frequent the Hallam and Fountain Gate areas.
Investigators have released an image of Anita in the hope that someone may have information on her current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Anita is urged to contact Narre Warren Police Station on 9705 3111.
