Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate an 83-year-old woman reported missing from Cairns since earlier this morning, 16 May.
Carmen Ferreira, pictured, was last seen around 8am on McCormack Street in Mooroobool (Cairns).
Police and Carmen's family are concerned for her welfare as her disappearance is out of character.
Carmen is described as being around 152cm tall, with brown hair, and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a light blue top, and light blue three-quarter length pants.
Carmen is believed to be driving a silver Toyota Prado with Queensland registration plates 595 MQI.
Anyone with information that could assist in locating Carmen is urged to contact police.
