Police seek help to find missing woman at Cairns

Cairns police are appealing for public assistance to help locate 61-year-old Wendy Ronald who was last seen around 5.40pm yesterday on Chaplin Avenue, Cairns.

Mrs Ronald was expected to drive from Chaplin Avenue to nearby Newell Street however she failed to arrive.

Concerns for Mrs Ronald's safety and wellbeing are held as she has not returned to her home address in the Redlynch area, nor has she contacted family or friends.

Mrs Ronald has a medical condition which may cause disorientation and challenges with communication.

She was driving a 2006 silver Hyundai Getz hatchback with Queensland registration 771 KBA.

Mrs Ronald is Caucasian, approximately 175cms tall with a proportionate build, brown eyes and short brown hair.

Anyone who may have seen the vehicle or has any information in relation to Ms Ronald's current whereabouts is urged to contact police.
