Police seek help to find missing woman at Hillcrest

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a woman missing from Hillcrest.

Lindsey McGuinness, 25, was last physically sighted by her neighbours leaving a unit complex on Costata Street on February 18.

The last known contact with Ms McGuinness was a short interaction on Facebook around midday on Friday.

Since then, she has not been in contact with her family which is out of character.

It is thought she may have travelled to Sydney.

Detectives now believe Ms Guinness may have spent some time with or had been in contact with a man who might live in an area near the Queensland – New South Wales border.

Investigators would like to speak with this man (pictured) as he may be able to assist in locating her.

Police would like to stress that this man is not under suspicion but may hold information important to the investigation.

Ms McGuiness is described as Aboriginal, around 155 centimetres tall with long brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who may know the man in this photo or has information about her whereabouts is urged to contact police.
