Police Seek Help to Find Stolen Car with Dog Inside in Brighton

Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance to locate a stolen car with Moe the dog inside at Brighton this morning.

Police have been told a black Mercedes station wagon was parked in a car park outside a store on Were Street in Brighton just after 7.30am.

The driver left their dog inside the vehicle and while inside the store, unknown offenders drove away in the Mercedes containing the dog.

The Mercedes is described a 2017 C250 Mercedes Station wagon with roof racks and registration VBG 946.

Moe the beloved cavoodle of a Brighton family, is aged two years-old and gold in colour.

Police have also released an image of Moe the dog in the hope someone may know of his whereabouts.
