Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing teenager Michael Hailu.
The 14-year-old was last seen in Eltham on 19 December.
He is described as 150cm tall with a slim build and has short dark curly hair.
Michael is new to the Eltham area but is known to frequent the Craigieburn and Wallan areas.
Investigators have released an image of Michael in the hope that someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Michael is urged to contact Eltham Police Station on 9430 4500.
