Police seek help to locate Elsternwick thief

Caulfield police are hoping to identify a man over the theft of medication from an Elsternwick shop earlier this month.

Police have been told a man entered a chemist on Glen Huntly Road about 3pm Tuesday 12 May.

The man told a shop assistant he required medication for his daughter.

The man has been handed the medication and then casually walked around the shop browsing at various items before running out the front door.

The offender is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged between 25 to 30-years-old, 180cm tall, medium build with tattoos on his left wrist and lower left leg.

Police have released an image of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.
