Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing child T'e karotai.
The 6-month-old is believed to be with his mother Lucy.
He was last sighted about 1pm today on Botany Circuit in Tarneit.
Police have concerns for T'e karotai welfare due to his age.
Police have released an image of Lucy in the hope that someone can provide information on their current whereabouts.
Anyone who sights T'e karotai or Lucy or has information on their whereabouts is urged to contact Werribee Police Station on (03) 9742 9444.
