Police are currently searching for and appealing for public assistance to locate missing Dandenong man Gerard, who goes by the nickname of Gerry.
The 67-year-old was last seen on the corner of Princes Highway and Gladstone Road, Dandenong about 12:30am this morning.
Gerard is likely to be travelling on an electric mobility scooter and is known to frequent the Hemmings Street, Dandenong shops and Frankston areas.
Police and family have serious concerns for Gerard due to a medical condition and his disappearance being out of character.
Gerard is Caucasian, with a solid build, grey hair and a grey beard.
He was last seen wearing black pants and a grey chequered jacket over a black t-shirt. He has bandaged feet and is not wearing any shoes.
Police have shared an image of Gerard in the hopes that someone may have information on his whereabouts.
