Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing teen Elysha.
The 16-year-old was last seen after she was dropped off at Chadstone shopping centre to meet a friend about 2.30pm yesterday.
She failed to meet at the designated meeting point and her family have not heard from her since.
Her disappearance is out of character and police and Elysha's family hold concerns for her welfare as she requires medication which she did not have with her.
Investigators have released an image of Elysha in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her current whereabouts.
She is described as approximately 170cm tall and was last seen wearing a cream coloured sweater, grey tracksuit pants and was carrying a black backpack.
