Police are currently searching for and appealing for public assistance to locate missing woman Xiaomei.
The 73-year-old was last seen on Strathmerton Street in Reservoir this morning at about 6am.
Police and family hold concerns for Xiaomei's wellbeing due to her age and as she suffers from dementia.
Xiaomei may present as disoriented if she is approached by a member of the public.
She does not have a phone or access to money and will most likely be travelling on foot.
Xiaomei is described as 150cm tall, with a slim build and white/grey hair.
Police have released an image of Xiaomei in the hope someone recognises her.
Anyone who sights Xiaomei is urged to call Triple Zero (000) or Reservoir Police Station on (03) 9460 6744.
