Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Glenfield since yesterday, NSW Police say.
James Parkin, 85, was last seen about 4.30pm yesterday, after leaving his home on Trafalgar Street for a walk.
His wife contacted police when he failed to return home.
Officers attached to Macquarie Fields Local Area Command have been searching for Mr Parkin; however he has not been located.
Concerns are held for his welfare, as Mr Parkin suffers a medical condition.
Mr Parkin is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 178cm tall, of slim build, with grey hair and a beard.
He was last seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt, navy blue ‘workman’ pants, a dark blue baseball cap and was carry a dark-coloured satchel bag.
Anyone who sights Mr Parkin is urged to contact Macquarie Fields police via Crime Stopers.
