Police seek info to help locate girls in Parramatta

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate two girls missing from the Parramatta area since last week, NSW Police say.

On Monday 16 January 2017, Britney and Shaneque Hunter, 14 and 11, left a motel in Parramatta where they were staying with Family and Community Services workers.

Police were notified after the girls failed to return and a search commenced. The pair has not been seen since and concerns are held for their welfare.

Britney and Shaneque are believed to be in the Mount Druitt area, and police have received reports the girls attended a shopping centre on Church Street in Parramatta sometime last week.

Both girls are described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, with brown hair, brown eyes and of slim build.

Britney was last seen wearing a pink and white t-shirt and Shaneque was seen wearing a pink shirt.

Anyone with information on the girls’ whereabouts is urged to contact Parramatta Local Area Command via Crime Stoppers.
