Police seek information after break-in at Broken Hill

Police are appealing for information after a home was broken into in the state's far west.

About 7am Sunday (4 August 2019), the male occupant of a home on Cobalt Street at Broken Hill woke to find an unknown man in his house.

The man ran from the home and was last seen running toward Bromide Street.

A wallet and vehicle keys were reported stolen.

Officers attached to Barrier Police District attended the home and have commenced an investigation.

The man is described as being of Aboriginal/ Torres Strait Islander in appearance, with a thin build, 165-170cm, and around 18 years old. He was last seen wearing a black hoody with khaki pants and joggers.
