Police seek information after fatal crash near Griffith

Police are appealing for information following a fatal crash in the states south today.

About 7.30am today (Friday 4 October 2019), emergency services were called to Wee Elwah Road, Roto, after reports a white Toyota Landcruiser and a white Ford Utility collided.

The driver and sole occupant of the Ford Utility, a 59-year-old man died at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota Landcruiser, a 30-year-old man, and his male passenger were uninjured.

Officers from Murrumbidgee Police District established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

As inquiries continue anyone who was travelling along Wee Elwah Road at the time of the crash or has dash cam vision is urged to come forward.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
