Police seek information after man stabbed - Minto

A man has been hospitalised following a stabbing in Sydney's south west overnight.

About 10.20pm yesterday (Wednesday 11 August 2021), officers from the Campbelltown Police Area Command attended Cope Street, Minto following reports a man had been wounded.

Police located a 21-year-old man with stab wounds to his upper body.

The man was treated at the scene before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital and remains in a stable condition.

Police have been told three men entered the house - one armed with a knife - and confronted the man before stabbing him several times. The men fled the house and were last seen heading towards Gawler Street.

Police are now searching for three men who are not further described.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
