Police seek information after Mulgrave crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash in Mulgrave on Sunday (28 July).

Nunawading Highway Patrol observed a white Mercedes van allegedly travelling at 142km/h in a 100km/h zone on the Monash Freeway about 8.15am.

Police were following the vehicle when it is alleged they began changing lanes erratically and lost control, rolling and colliding with a concrete barrier near Jacksons Road.

The male driver and female passenger were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The male will be interviewed at a later date conduct endangering life, drink and drug driving and other traffic offences.

The female passenger was released without charge.
