Police seek information after postal vehicle stolen - Murray River

Police are investigating after a postal vehicle was stolen in the state's Murray River region yesterday.

Just before 9am (Tuesday 7 June 2022), the delivery vehicle was parked in a carpark at a marketplace on Perricoota Road, Moama.

When the driver returned, the vehicle was missing. Inquiries suggest it was driven from the location via a service station near the carpark.

Officers attached to Murray River Police District were notified and have commenced an investigation.

As inquiries continue, police are appealing for anyone with information, including witnesses or anyone who sees the postal vehicle – a white Great Wall utility with Victorian registration 1UD-8VM –to call Moama Police on 03 5482 0099 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
