Police seek information after up-skirting incident - Eastgardens

Police are appealing for information after the alleged up-skirting of a woman at a shopping centre in the Eastern Beaches earlier this month.

About 4.20pm on Wednesday 5 April 2021, a woman was shopping when she noticed a man next to her was using a phone to film under her clothing.

The incident was reported to officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command who commenced an investigation.

Police have now released images of a man that may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man is described as being of Asian appearance and aged in his early 20s. At the time he was wearing a black cap, dark grey backpack, light grey t-shirt, dark grey tracksuit pants and black and white sneakers. He was also wearing sunglasses and a face mask.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has information about the identity of the man, is urged to contact police or crime stoppers on 1800 333 000.
